Description
The Guest Services Specialist is the first point of contact for every guest, setting the tone for the entire Fire & Ice experience. We are looking for an energetic, welcoming professional who is passionate about wellness with excellent organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, or spa preferred).
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency with scheduling software or POS systems is a plus.
- Passion for health, wellness, or recovery is highly desirable.
- Ability to consistently provide thoughtful product recommendations (training provided)
Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In: Warmly greet and check in guests using our booking system, verifying appointments, memberships, and passes.
- Customer Guidance: Clearly explain the facility layout, guide guests to the appropriate gender-separated sections, and provide a brief overview of the session flow (sauna -> plunge -> rest). Promote spa services and products to enhance client experience and drive sales.
- Merchandise Sales: Process retail sales for gift cards, merchandise (merch), and other bathing products using the POS system.
- Customer Support: Answer phone calls, respond to general inquiries about pricing, services, and etiquette, and resolve minor customer issues.
- Facility Readiness: Assist with light opening and closing duties, ensuring the reception area and lobby are clean, organized, and inviting.
