What to Bring for the Ultimate Sessions
Share
You’ve booked your session and you’re ready for the ultimate reset—but what should you pack? Preparation is key to getting the most out of your session. We want your focus to be on your breath and your recovery, not whether you remembered a towel!
Here is your essential guide on what to pack for your Fire & Ice journey.
Part 1: The Absolute Essentials
These items are must-haves for every Fire & Ice session.
1. Swimsuit / Comfort Wear
- For the Sauna & Plunge: A comfortable swimsuit, trunks, or athletic wear (such as sports bras, athletic shorts, or rash guards) is all you need for the heat and the cold. Please ensure the material is quick-drying.
- Tip: Darker colors often wear better after repeated use in saunas.
2. Hydration Strategy
- You will sweat and you will need to rehydrate! Contrast therapy is dehydrating, so proper hydration is absolutely vital for a great session and smooth recovery.
Your Options for Hydration:
- Bring Your Own: We encourage you to bring a large, reusable water bottle to use at our complimentary filtered refill station.
-
Retail Options: Forgot your bottle or want a boost? We have single-use water bottles, our exclusive branded reusable water bottles, and a selection of electrolyte drinks available for purchase at the front desk.
- Note: Complimentary small cups are also available if needed.
3. Your Personal Products
- If you plan to shower afterward, bring your own preferred shampoo, body wash, or moisturizer. While we provide basic essentials, your skin might thank you for your favorite brand.
4. A Simple Change of Clothes
- Don't forget clean, dry layers for when you leave. Your body temperature will be shifting, so comfortable clothes are best for the journey home.
Part 2: The Optional Comforts
These items aren't required, but they can significantly enhance your experience.
| Item | Why It Helps |
| A Good Book / Magazine | Perfect for your cool-down period or to pass the time during your sauna session. (Note: Please keep phones in silent mode for the benefit of others.) |
| Personal Sandals / Flip-flops | While we provide communal sandals, some guests prefer to bring their own for walking between the sauna, plunge, and shower. |
| A Personal Head Towel | Great for wrapping your hair or placing over the headrest in the sauna for extra comfort. |
| Headphones (Wired) | To listen to a guided meditation or calming music during the heat phase without disturbing others. (Bluetooth devices often struggle with high heat.) |
Part 3: What We Provide
We aim to make your visit as simple as possible by supplying the most critical items.
- Drying/Shower Towel: A fresh, large towel for drying off after your session and shower.
- Sauna Bench Towel: A designated towel is provided for you to sit or lie on, ensuring proper hygiene and protecting the wood surfaces.
- Shower Access: Fully equipped showers for a quick rinse afterward.
- Communal Sandals: Provided for walking through the common areas.
Now all that's left is to breathe, relax, and enjoy the transformative power of the contrast circuit!
